Guilin Tire Factory is a subsidiary of Guilin South Rubber Group Co. Ltd., which is located in "the number one world famous" scenic city of Guilin for its beautiful mountain and water landscape. The plant was set up in 1965 and put into production in 1969. Guilin Tire Factory is one of the leading chemical industrial enterprises in China, as yearly production capacity now exceeds two million tires.

  The plant facility has over 1000 types of tire manufacturing machines, including equipment imported from Germany, Japan, England and United States, representing the state of the art technology. Imported equipment are compound mixing lines, steel belt line, textile cord calendering  line, cold-feed triplex tread line, band builders, tire building machine, tensile tester, rheometers and X-ray inspection machine.The plant consists of four distinct production lines in which the famous "Torch" brand giant off-the-road tires (GOTR), off-the-road(OTR) tires, truck tires, light truck tires, passenger car tires, farm service tires, industrial tires, radial light truck and passenger car tires as well as inner tubes, are manufactured.
